Before your dog joins us for day care, Dog Bus transport or A Walk In The Park, we start with a relaxed Meet & Greet Visit.

It gives us the chance to meet you both, learn a little about your dog and make sure Barklay Park feels like the right fit before their first booking.

Let’s get to know your dog

Every dog is different, so we like to meet all new dogs before they join us.

Your Meet & Greet is a friendly introduction where we can chat through your dog’s personality, routine, confidence, play style and any initial care needs.

It is not a formal test. It is simply a chance for our team to get to know your dog, answer your questions and make sure we can offer the right kind of care.

Why we start with a Meet & Greet

A Meet & Greet helps us make sure Barklay Park is the right environment for your dog.

It gives our team time to understand their personality, how they respond to new people and places, and what they need to feel happy, safe and settled.

Once your dog has completed their Meet & Greet and joined the Barklay Park pack, you’ll be able to request bookings through the Members Portal.

  • Yes. Every new dog must attend a Meet & Greet before booking Day Care, Dog Bus or A Walk In The Park.

  • No. We ask all new dogs to complete a Meet & Greet first so we can make sure Barklay Park is the right fit.

  • It is more of a relaxed introduction than a formal assessment. We’ll meet your dog, chat with you and learn more about their needs.

  • No. Free Range Fields can be booked directly online and do not require membership or a Meet & Greet.
